DJ Sammy had his worldwide breakthrough in 2001 with “Heaven“. The track broke through 2 million records sold in Europe and Australia and ended up at number 2 of the US Billboards HOT 100 in the US before it shot to number 1 in the UK in 2002. With „Boys of Summer“ DJ Sammy landed the next hit in UK – number 2 in the British charts.
His performances at the biggest festivals and in the hippest clubs around the globe helped Sammy find his distinctive sound. Residencies at the worldwide acclaimed BMC Planet Dance Magaluf (#6 in the Top 100 Clubs Ranking of DJ Mags UK), at Es Paradis Ibiza and Privilege on Ibiza followed. His radio show MyClubroom was voted the most popular club radio show by the Spanish DJ magazine.
In addition to his chart positions, TV appearances and awards worldwide, DJ Sammy also entered the renowned DJ Mag Top 100 DJ ranking (2005 #92, 2006 #61). In addition, DJ Sammy Bahia Music founded the record label Super M Records, which he runs from the beautiful Balearic island of Mallorca.
